Maika`i Edamame, 1 Bag (16 oz)
Sweet Chili Sauce, 2 Cups
Shoyu, 1/2 Cup
Garlic, 2 Tablespoons
Sesame Seeds, as needed

  • 1 bag (16 oz) Maika`i Edamame
  • 2 cups sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup shoyu
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • Sesame seeds, as needed

 

Directions

  1. Heat a large pan with 2 tablespoons of oil and toss edamame until steam comes out of the pods.
  2. Once edamame is heated through, add in garlic and stir fry for 2-3 minutes or until garlic is fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add in shoyu and sweet chili sauce and bring to a boil.
  4. Once brought to a boil, turn off the heat and let the edamame sit in the liquid for 5 minutes to absorb flavors.
  5. Place edamame in a serving tray and garnish with sesame seeds.
